THE BUS
In 2016 we got a call that someone purchased a full-length, giant, yellow school bus and wanted to convert it into a “Skoolie” or tiny home. The next 2 years were spent deconstructing and constructing the bus to transform it into a livable habitat on the road.
THE TREK
Once completed, the bus was to take a 4-month road trip travelling across the country beginning in New Jersey. From Jersey it would head to Montana, then up north through Canada (Banff, Jasper, etc.) all the way up to Alaska, picking up and dropping off people along the way. From Alaska, the bus would travel the west coast nearly down to Mexico, then head back east by way of Nevada and across the southern U.S.

Upon getting first word of this bus conversion excursion, we planned to document the entire process and trip afterward as a feature film; everything from deconstruction, to construction, to travel all while telling the story of a father and son, and some friends, who helped bring this big dream to life.
Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances during travel, we were unable to bring this project to completion.
But, we made a killer trailer for the final product, you know, just to make everyone’s mouths water.
