post-production

Post. The tedious, yet necessary, and dare we say, perhaps the most rewarding part of filmmaking. Once planned and filmed, you begin cutting together your scenes and the story is taking shape. With the finish line drawing ever nearer, it’s almost ready to release to the public. You hone in on an edited picture lock, it just needs some finishing touches, maybe a little pizzaz to spice things up and maintain steady attention of the audience. Pacing, flow, timeline, motion graphics, coloring; everything to really tighten the piece together as one cohesive element of the production.

EDITING

J.A. Cinema can provide you with an in-house editing team to collaborate with you on the final piece. Working on visual assembly for picture lock (shots in the order you want them in), sound design, motion graphics and more, you can be assured the end result will align with your overall vision.

MOTION GRAPHICS

Film is all about motion…it’s moving pictures! Graphics should be too. They tend to add a bit more flavor to the piece when they’re animated, like adding more chorizo to your tacos.

COLORIZATION

As a child’s coloring book…or the movie Pleasantville, coloring a film brings it to life. Atmosphere is determined, tone is brought forth, and it essentially adds more depth.
